Remembering Lt. Frank Miller

Mourning 1 1200

City of Jackson issued the following announcement on Feb 7.

The City of Jackson is remembering retired Lt. Frank Miller after his recent passing at age 89. On the force of the Jackson Police Department from 1954 to 1977, Miller made a big impact on the department.

Lt. Miller founded Jackson's Honor Guard in 1970. He continued to work with the Honor Guard in retirement, serving until 2010. He also volunteered as the department's historian, keeping up the Historical Room at the police station.

Thank you for a long life of public service to the Jackson community.
