City of Tecumseh issued the following announcement on Apr 7.
-PUBLIC NOTICE-
TO CITY OF TECUMSEH RESIDENTS AND WATER SYSTEM CUSTOMERS: FIRE HYDRANT AND WATER MAIN FLUSHING
The City of Tecumseh Public Utilities Department will be flushing fire hydrants, water mains and turning water valves according to the following schedule:
City crews will begin flushing on the north side of the City and move southward. This flushing will be done during the daylight hours from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, beginning April 11, 2022 through May 5, 2022.
In an effort to minimize inconvenience to our residents and customers, flushing will not be performed on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR COLD WATER FOR ANY RUST BEFORE DOING ANY LAUNDRY.
