The Jackson Law Enforcement Memorial returned to Downtown Jackson today following a two-year pause due to the pandemic.
This event brings together the Jackson County law enforcement community and residents to honor officers killed in the line of duty. Undersheriff Chris Simpson gave the keynote address.
Mayor Daniel Mahoney presented a proclamation to the family of former Lt. Frank Miller, officially renaming the historical room at the Jackson Police Department after him. Lt. Miller recently passed away after a life dedicated to public service and honoring police history in Jackson.
It was a beautiful day to bring back an event that's important to our community.
