Street Resurfacing Work Starting Friday, May 20
The City of Tecumseh’s contractor, Gerken Paving, will be starting the milling and resurfacing of City streets starting this Friday. The first step will be milling the pavement down, and then they will return to overlay with new asphalt. They will start on Murray, Blanchard, Sutton and Spafford Streets in the southwest area of the City, and work their way north to include the following streets: Patterson, Cummins, Pearl, Bidwell, Nokomis, Pontiac Trail, Red Oak, Red Maple, Hickory Ridge, Chestnut, Bramblewood, Pitman and Partridge.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET WHILE THE ROAD WORK IS ACTIVE.
The work will be much more efficient and will be completed in a more timely manner if the contractor does not have to wait for vehicles to be moved.
