VOTING INFORMATION FOR AUG. 2 PRIMARY ELECTION

VOTING INFORMATION FOR AUG. 2 PRIMARY ELECTION

The Hillsdale City Clerk's Office is currently in the process of sending out absentee ballots to voters who have already applied to vote absentee ahead of the Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, primary election in Michigan.

City of Hillsdale voters who are not on the permanent absentee application list can request an absentee ballot by applying at City Hall, located at 97 N. Broad Street in Hillsdale, or at michigan.gov/vote.

VOTING IN PERSON

In-person voting for all registered voters residing within the City of Hillsdale will take place at the Hillsdale Community Library between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022.

PRIMARY BALLOT MARKING INSTRUCTIONS

It is important to understand the rules for the partisan primary voting process. On this ballot, there is both a partisan section and proposal section.

If you choose to complete the partisan section, you may vote in one party section only; you cannot “split your ticket.” If you vote in more than one party section, the partisan portion of your ballot will be rejected.

Please take care to read and follow the marking instructions on your ballot to make sure your vote counts. If you vote in person, feel free to ask your election officials for clarification if you have questions.

To find out more information on the election, or view a sample ballot, visit michigan.gov/vote.
