Frank's Tavern

Frank's Tavern was established on Lake Ponemah in Fenton Township in the 1920's by Frank Vosburgh and his wife Bessie.

Situated  at 14331 Eastview, Frank's was world-famous for 1) Top-notch fish & chips, 2) Outstanding views of Lake Ponemah, and 3) A policy of NO reservations. There were often long lines of hungry customers drooling for Frank's on Friday and Saturday nights!

Using this formula, Frank's delighted patrons for decades before eventually closing in 2010. Today we salute Frank's Tavern!

The current owners of the successor restaurant, Frank's Hoppy Bistro, contacted us about this post. Stop in and see them! They are going strong on Thompson Rd in Fenton, and they are using Frank's recipes.
