TRAFFIC ADVISORY & CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, the following streets will be open to local traffic only, and on-street parking will be prohibited, through 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, for work on the City’s Special Assessment District 22-06 Street Improvement Project:
• S. Howell St. from E. Hallett St. to South City Limits
• Lynwood Blvd. from E. Hallett St. to Reading Ave.
• Morry St. from S. Howell St. to Walnut St.
• Walnut St. from E. Lynwood Blvd. to Morry St.
Please note the following:
• The streets will be signed as closed to “thru” traffic, but residents with driveways in the project area can proceed to your property; all others should follow the posted detour.
• Hillsdale Hospital traffic can utilize the entrances to the hospital on S. Howell Street or S. Manning Street utilizing Hallett Street; you will not be able to access the hospital using Hillsdale Road (S. Howell Street) from the south—you must follow the posted detour.
The City’s contractor, Nashville Construction, is anticipating beginning the milling of street surfaces by Wednesday or Thursday of next week.
