The Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) has launched its Michigan Homeowner Assistance Fund (MIHAF) program.  We were allocated $242.8 million from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021’s (the ARP) Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) program which Governor Gretchen Whitmer designated MSHDA as the program’s operating agency.

We are accepting applications from homeowners with delinquent mortgage/housing payments, delinquent property taxes, delinquent condominium association fees, mobile home delinquencies, or delinquent utility payments and will not be able to help them avoid foreclosure, displacement, or utility shut-off unless you sign up to participate in this much needed program.

Contact us at 844-756-4423 or go out to our MIHAF webpage at www.michigan.gov/mihaf for further program information.
