Census Bureau: 78.2% of people in Hillsdale County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 45,673 citizens living in Hillsdale County in 2021, 78.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 35,722 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 17,835 were male, constituting 49.9%, and 17,887 were female, making up 50.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Hillsdale County during 2021 was the same as the state average, which stands at 78.2%.
