On March 28, 2025, Walberg attended the annual Berrien County Farm Bureau Legislative Luncheon. He expressed appreciation for the opportunity to discuss farming's critical role and the industry’s future, saying, "I enjoyed participating in the annual Berrien County Farm Bureau Legislative Luncheon to discuss the importance of our farming community and the future of the industry. Thank you for having me!"
A day later, on March 29, 2025, Walberg visited Modineer Plant 6 in Niles. During the visit, he engaged with workers, gaining insights into their workforce development initiatives. Walberg emphasized the significance of job growth and workforce development, stating, "I recently visited Modineer Plant 6 in Niles and met with workers to discuss our supply chain and learn more about their workforce development initiatives such as participating in apprenticeship programs. We must continue to promote job growth and support workforce development."
On March 30, 2025, Walberg toured the site of the incoming Align Center for Workforce Development. He expressed optimism about the center's potential to address the skills gap and foster economic growth, as noted in his tweet, "It was great to tour the site of the incoming Align Center for Workforce Development which will help close the skills gap and connect workers with opportunities so we can continue to grow our economy."
