Representative Tim Walberg, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress from Michigan’s 5th district, engaged with his audience through a series of tweets highlighting sports achievements, military appreciation, and agricultural concerns.

On April 13, 2025, Walberg extended his congratulations to the Western Michigan University hockey team for securing their "first National Championship" with his post "Congratulations to @WMUhockey on taking home their first National Championship! #BroncosReign".

In a post dated April 14, 2025, Walberg expressed his appreciation for the service of the Air Force Reserve. He acknowledged the long history of their commitment, stating, "For 77 years, the brave men and women of the Air Force Reserve have been dedicated to keeping America safe. Thank you for your service to our nation!".

On April 15, 2025, the Representative shared insights from his meeting with the Monroe County Farm Bureau where they discussed pressing farming issues. He highlighted regulatory challenges and recent changes by the Trump administration concerning the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) revision of the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule, which he believes increased business costs. He tweeted, "I recently met with the Monroe County Farm Bureau to discuss the issues impacting our farmers and how we can reduce regulatory burdens. The Trump administration recently announced that the EPA will revise the Biden-era WOTUS rule which drove up the cost of business for our".

Walberg’s career began in the Michigan House of Representatives, where he served from 1983 to 1999. In 2011, he assumed office in the U.S. Congress, succeeding Mark Schauer. Born in Chicago, Tim Walberg, now 72, resides in Tipton, Michigan.
