On April 15, 2025, the Representative shared insights from his meeting with the Monroe County Farm Bureau where they discussed pressing farming issues. He highlighted regulatory challenges and recent changes by the Trump administration concerning the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) revision of the Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule, which he believes increased business costs. Walberg’s career began in the Michigan House of Representatives, where he served from 1983 to 1999. In 2011, he assumed office in the U.S. Congress, succeeding Mark Schauer. Born in Chicago, Tim Walberg, now 72, resides in Tipton, Michigan.
