Today, Tim Walberg, Chairman of the Education and Workforce Committee, made a statement reflecting on the Trump administration's achievements during its first 100 days. Chairman Walberg remarked on the administration's efforts in various sectors, particularly in education and workforce development.
According to Walberg, "The first 100 days of Trump’s presidency were a whirlwind of wins for families, students, and the American workforce." He highlighted the administration's initiatives to "depower the Department of Education, empower parents, get workers the skills needed to succeed, expand manufacturing, and protect women and girls in sports." These accomplishments, he asserts, are among many achieved within the early days of the administration, with further progress anticipated.
Chairman Walberg expressed satisfaction with the leadership in the White House, contrasting it to the previous administration. "I am glad we finally have a president in the White House willing to confront the challenges and woke ideology ravaging our education system and the nation's workforce," he stated. Walberg criticized the preceding Biden-Harris administration's handling of workforce issues, citing "crushing inflation and regulations" and the promotion of "radical ideology in schools."
Expressing optimism for the future, Walberg concluded, "As Chairman of the Committee on Education and Workforce, I look forwarding to continuing the Trump administration’s accomplishments that are putting students, workers, and job creators first—ensuring our country thrives."
