Representative Tim Walberg, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan's 5th district since 2011, recently shared several messages on social media. These posts covered topics ranging from national pride to local celebrations and educational initiatives.

On June 15, 2025, Walberg expressed his sentiments regarding the U.S. Army's milestone anniversary. "As Sue and I watched the parade and celebration of our US Army’s 250th anniversary, my chest could not swell any further with pride and gratefulness," he stated. He extended his gratitude to those who have served over the years and acknowledged President Donald Trump for his role in supporting such commemorations.

Later that day, Walberg extended warm wishes to fathers in his district. "Happy Father’s Day to all the dads in Michigan’s 5th District!" he tweeted on June 15, 2025.

The following day, June 16, 2025, Walberg shared an announcement about an educational initiative from the White House. "The White House has announced the beginning of the Second Lady’s Summer Reading challenge which will run through September 5, 2025!" The program invites K-8 students to participate for a chance to win prizes and potentially visit Washington D.C.

Tim Walberg was born in Chicago in 1951 and currently resides in Tipton. He holds a BA from Taylor University and previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 1983 to 1999 before succeeding Mark Schauer in Congress.
