Sen. Roger Victory, a Michigan state senator, has recently addressed constituents through a series of social media posts concerning Medicaid oversight and local community events in West Michigan.

On July 10, 2025, Sen. Victory stated his position on Medicaid spending, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that program funds reach their intended recipients. He wrote, "Every dollar in Medicaid must benefit those the program is intended to serve. That’s why I have asked the Auditor General to review MI Medicaid spending. This review is a critical first step to preserve the integrity of Medicaid and ensure the core services remain available."

The following day, July 11, 2025, Sen. Victory encouraged participation in local fairs as part of summer activities in West Michigan. He posted, "Fair season is in full swing in West Michigan. Check out one of the community fairs before the summer fun is over!"

Later on July 11, he highlighted an upcoming family event in Holland: "Check out 'Chalk the Walk' this Saturday from 9:30am-1:00pm. This family fun event will take place at Windmill Island in Holland. Make sure to bring your chalk! Learn more here:"

Additional information for Step 3: The annual "Chalk the Walk" event at Windmill Island Gardens encourages families and community members to create sidewalk art together and is part of Holland's broader efforts to promote public arts engagement.
