State Senator Mark E. Huizenga | Michigan House Republicans
Senator Mark Huizenga of Michigan has expressed his concern and condolences following a mass stabbing incident at a Walmart near Traverse City. The attack, which occurred on Saturday, resulted in injuries to 11 individuals.
In his statement, Sen. Huizenga said, “My wife and I extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the victims and families affected by Saturday’s incident in Traverse City.”
He also commended the prompt response of first responders and law enforcement officials: “We are deeply grateful to the first responders and law enforcement for their swift and courageous actions. Violence has no place in our society.”
