Sen. Roger Victory, a member of the Michigan Senate, has posted several messages on his official X (formerly Twitter) account between September 1 and September 3, 2025. The posts address Labor Day, school bus safety as students return to school, and concerns about delays in approving state funding.

On September 1, Victory shared a message marking the holiday: "Happy Labor Day! https://t.co/Zm7zH8eotC"

The following day, he emphasized student safety at the start of the new school year. On September 2 he wrote: "As students return to school, it is important to review school bus safety. Use the graphic below for more information. https://t.co/8y6nqnWKDa"

In a post dated September 3, Victory expressed concern over budgetary delays affecting Michigan schools and other public programs: "I'm disappointed we haven't been able to approve critical funding for our schools and other key programs by July 1.

I'm committed to working with my colleagues to make sure we get a balanced budget that spends your money on the issues that matter most. https://t.co/dk8LI7h8Yo"

Michigan’s constitution requires the legislature to pass a balanced budget each year before October 1. Failure to do so can disrupt funding for education and other essential services.
